HTX Surf, a world-class surf destination from the Beach Street Development team will make waves at Generation Park in Fall 2024. The surf resort is part of Beach Street’s pioneering new segment of barefoot lifestyle destinations and resorts anchored by man-made surfing lagoons. The surf lagoon’s customizable ocean-like waves create a surfing experience rivaling the ocean by delivering perfect waves every time.
Using Wavegarden’s proprietary wave generating technology, HTX Surf will cater to surf pros and amateurs alike. Creating up to 1,000 waves per hour, the surf experience can be tailored to different skill levels. The 6-acre man-made surf lagoon can accommodate up to 70 surfers per hour and allows beginner and advanced surfers to simultaneously surf in different areas of the lagoon. A large beach area will also be available for spectators to relax and enjoy the scene. In addition, HTX Surf will also provide the most advanced training programs focused on helping guests learn to surf and improve their skills.
