Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) in the largest annual fundraiser for America’s largest food bank. This year HRW will be held from August 1, 2015 until September 7, 2015 benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
“Houston Restaurant Weeks gives people in Houston an opportunity to experience Houston’s exceptional restaurants while providing much-needed relief for families suffering from hunger. Each restaurant will make donations to the Food Bank based upon how many brunches, lunches and dinners are sold during the event.
When making your reservations, be sure to tell them that you would like the Houston Restaurant Weeks special menu. This will let the restaurant know to make a donation to the Food Bank from the proceeds of your meal.
In 2014 Houston Restaurant Week raised a record-breaking $1,600,162.25 for the Houston Food Bank, generating over 4,800,000 meals.
