Trader Joe’s Store in Kingwood, Texas to Open December 5th

On Friday, December 5th, Trader Joe’s will open a new store in Kingwood, Texas. The new store is located at 600 Kingwood Drive, in the Kingwood Commons. Moments before doors open at 8 am, there will be a brief ribbon-cutting. Store Captain Debra Tovar and Trader Joe’s Crew Members will be on hand to welcome customers to their new neighborhood store.

This 10,718 sq. ft store will be the first Trader Joe’s in Kingwood. As a neighborhood grocery store, Trader Joe’s prides itself on hiring from our local community. The store hired more than twenty-five new Crew Members from surrounding areas and transferred in others from nearby Trader Joe’s stores.

In addition, through the company’s longstanding Neighborhood Shares Program, the new Kingwood Trader Joe’s will donate 100% of products that go unsold but remain fit to enjoy to a range of non-profit, community-based organizations, seven days a week.
