Transformation Continues at Kings Crossing for Spring 2026 Sprouts Opening

The ongoing redevelopment of the former HEB building at Kings Crossing continues to take shape. While work has been underway on the interior for the better part of the year, HKA Texas has received updated details from corporate regarding the official opening window.

Project Status Since our original report in January regarding the arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market, construction crews have been working to divide the massive retail infrastructure at 4303 Kingwood Drive. The project involves splitting the former single-tenant building into multiple retail bays to support the new anchor and future tenants.

Timeline and Details According to the latest statement sent to HKA Texas, the new Sprouts in Kingwood is scheduled to open in Early Spring 2026. “We’re excited to bring another Sprouts location to the Lone Star State,” the company stated, confirming their commitment to the Kingwood area.

New Neighbors Joining the Center The Kings Crossing Shopping Center is solidifying its tenant list around the construction. Alongside the 23,947-square-foot Sprouts, the updated roster includes:

Sake Bon: A new restaurant featuring sushi and hibachi (4,228 sq ft).

James Avery Artisan Jewelry: Located adjacent to the redevelopment.

Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse and The Flying Biscuit Café anchoring the dining options nearby.

Prime Space Still Available As the exterior transformation continues, updated site plans show that a significant portion of the building remains available. Approximately 37,388 square feet is currently listed for lease, positioned directly between the new Sprouts and the Trek Bikes location.

HKA Texas will continue to monitor the progress as the project moves toward its 2026 completion.
