Cesar and Jennifer Coronel, residents of Summerwood are bringing indoor Youth Soccer, and Baseball to Northeast Houston — or as we like to call it HKA TEXAS.
Located in Atascocita, JC Sports offers several unique development programs that will place your son, or daughter at the center of the game.
“We know we are developing kids that are good.” Said Jennifer Coronel “We also know we are developing athletes that can compete when it’s age appropriate. We want them to fall in love with the game first, let them have fun, while learning their fundamental skills” — “I want these kids to still be playing a sport 20 years from now, because they love it.”
JC Sports offers sports programs for children 2 to 9 years old.
The Coronel’s ultimate goal is to “develop well rounded creative players” by offering a unique curriculum, in a fun and friendly indoor environment.
Cesar Coronel told us “There is nothing like this in northeast Houston. We are teaching the kids the basics of soccer and baseball starting at 2 years old, using drills, games, and music so they learn the basics”
In addition to teaching the fundamentals, Cesar says they are teaching life skills. “Every season we will talk to the kids about working together, sharing, and having confidence.”

Mighty Kicks
Soccer Toddler Program
For ages 2-5 years old
Ideal for first time Soccer participants.
Mighty Kicks introduces basic soccer skills by using age-appropriate games, drills, and exercises. The sessions are healthy, informative and FUN!
The techniques learned through this unique instruction helps children get familiar with athletics and how to properly play the world’s most popular game early on.
Lil’ Sluggers
Baseball Program
For ages 2-4 years old
A licensed program developed to introduce pre-school aged children to the game of baseball utilizing a fun and educational curriculum. With a focus on fundamental skills and tactics utilized in baseball, Lil Sluggers is designed to be an enjoyable introduction to the game, as well as build confidence in the pre-school player who plans to advance to Tee-ball and Little League. Lil Sluggers Programs uses a very low student ratio (6-1) which guaranty more learning, more time on the field and more FUN!!
FUNino
Youth Soccer Program
For Ages 4-9 Years old
This breakthrough approach to introducing young children to the game of soccer has an emphasis on FUN so that children come to fall in love with the game from the earliest ages.
Through a Soccer “DEVELOPMENT” league, in a 3 vs 3 setting, the child will learn the game by playing.
JC Sports strives for a “STRESS FREE” environment focusing on child self discovery methods during the game.
