Commissioner Jack Morman is proud to announce the start of construction on the Timber Forest Drive widening project for early November. The $2.9 million project includes the addition of a two-lane concrete section to the existing roadway, resulting in a complete four-lane boulevard from Eagle Springs Parkway to Madera Run Parkway.
“We’ve been busy in Atascocita, so I want to thank the residents for their continued patience during construction on our improvements,” said Commissioner Morman.
Construction will require temporary closures of the sidewalk on the west side of the roadway. Pedestrians are urged to cross at controlled intersections and utilize the sidewalk on the east side to avoid the construction zone. Roadwork is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2019.
