With over 505,000-square-feet in the first phase of development nearing completion in Valley Ranch Town Center, construction of the second phase is now underway. A popular mix of “big box” retailers have signed on for the second phase, including TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Rack Room Shoes, Burlington and PetSmart. Stores that are already open in the first phase include Academy Sports + Outdoors, Sam’s Club, Party City, Panda Express, Subway and Sally Beauty. The 123,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace® and 55,000 square foot Hobby Lobby will both open for business the first week in April.
Master-planned to include approximately 1.5 million square feet of retail, dining, hospitality, entertainment and civic venues when it is completed next year, Valley Ranch Town Center is currently the largest retail project underway in the Houston area. This 240-acre retail destination is situated within the 1,400-acre master-planned community of Valley Ranch, at the epicenter of growth in the Northeast Houston corridor at I69/99, just north of Kingwood.
