Construction to Begin on a new 200-Acre Park in New Caney

Construction is set to begin in November on the first phase of EMCID’s new 200-acre park along FM 1485 near Caney Creek in New Caney. The first phase will feature separate large and small dog parks totaling nearly 33,000 square feet, along with interactive water features, shade structures, artificial turf play areas, restrooms, a covered canopy and 33 parking spaces. A future children’s playground is also planned, with additional park features to come in later phases.
