Caney Pines Convention Center is officially the name of the new $159 million convention center nearing completion in New Caney. Located in the Valley Ranch Entertainment District, the 210,070-square-foot facility will include a 55,000-square-foot ballroom/exhibition hall, 20,000 square feet of meeting space and room for more than 6,000 attendees. EMCID says construction remains on schedule, with a grand opening planned for December. Event bookings for 2027 are already underway.
