Multiple sources have told us that the owners of White Lightning Dancehall and Saloon, currently under construction in the Fall Creek area will be taking over Mama Sumba (http://www.hkatexas.com/2015/09/mama-sumba-sports-bar/), and will turn it into The Republic House, “A more upscale Texas themed bar, offering: a smoke free environment, 50+ draft beers, craft cocktails, and a menu second to none”.

In addition, they plan to build out the empty location between Mama Sumba and thatburrito (http://www.hkatexas.com/2014/10/thatburrito/) as a combination barber shop, cigar and bourbon bar.

The current plan is for all three locations to be connected with passageways, and a large outdoor patio area.

White Lightning Dancehall and Saloon: Investors, including Brandon Young, the owner of Voodoo Queen and Moon Tower Inn will open White Lightning Dancehall and Saloon a 21,000-square-foot country-style bar and lounge, the bar will include live music, several bars, dancehall, a vast selection of craft beer, whiskey, bourbon, scotch, moonshine.”
